Meet your midwife
Hi, I'm Jessica
wife, mother, midwife
Called to walk beside women through the sacred, redemptive work of birth — with reverence, gentleness, and the abiding grace of Christ.

My story
A calling born of redemption
As a mom and a midwife, I bring both personal experience and professional passion to my journey in supporting women through the transformative process of motherhood. Happily married for 18 years, my Christian faith is a guiding force in my commitment to compassionate care.

My personal journey includes a childhood marked by abuse and trauma—experiences that deeply impacted my childbearing years. As I began to explore birth through books like Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May Gaskin and Supernatural Childbirth, I realized how feelings of fear, pain, and loss of control during labor can echo past trauma.
During my final birth, I experienced a natural hospital birth with the support of a skilled doula, and for the first time, I felt truly prepared, safe, and supported. That experience was deeply redemptive, both emotionally and spiritually. It was then I knew I was called to walk alongside other women, helping them find healing and empowerment through birth. Through the grace-filled, redemptive love of Jesus, I hope to provide care that brings peace, dignity, and restoration to the families I serve.
The three pillars
The WOMBS Difference
I strive to provide out-of-hospital care tailored to each family's unique needs and story. Care that is centered on education, safety, and a nurturing environment — guided by current best practices and compassionate support for families of all backgrounds.
Informed Consent
Education is at the forefront of all I do. Expectant mothers should be well informed, educated, and aware of all options. The goal is collaborative decision-making as a team.
Created for birth
I believe women's bodies are created for birth. They are not broken and doomed to fail. With adequate support and proper care, women have exactly what they need for healthy babies and births.
Prevention first
It is my philosophy to not wait for problems to arise. Prevent them before they ever start with proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and natural herbal supplements.
My philosophy
Care shaped by presence & prayer
My practice is built on the belief that pregnancy is not a condition to be managed but a season to be honored. I offer unhurried visits, evidence-based guidance, and a listening ear — meeting each family exactly where they are. Above all, I aim to point women back to the One who knit their child together and who walks with them through every contraction and quiet middle-of-the-night feeding.
The pregnancy journey is sacred — a threshold moment for a family, held with reverence and quiet courage.
Every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and known long before her labor begins.
The body was designed with wisdom; my role is to steward, not to override.
Faith, science, and intuition can walk hand in hand in the birthing room.
Jessica is a gift to the midwifery world. She so gracefully walks you through each step of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. She will not shy away from the truth and with a gentle hand, will help guide you in the choices that need to be made. She is there, listening through every call, text, and, as I like to lovingly refer to them, my therapy sessions, to gently yet firmly remind you of the strength that we mamas carry. She doesn’t just help guide this new life into the world, but she also helps guide the new mama into the world of new born, post partum, and new strength to be the best mama to this baby!
